AASC™ Anti-Splinter coating for lenses or glass materials

AASC is a superior solution for safety for glass lenses. Many cell phones and hand held devices utilize glass lenses that pose a potential safety risk to users if the lens breaks. AASC is the solution to this risk. When a coated lens breaks, all shards of glass are held together keeping the user safe from small dangerous glass fragments. AASC does not degrade the optical performance of a glass lens and in many cases can actually increase the light transmittance of a lens. AASC is thin and is simply a coating, no adhesives or films are used. AASC coatings are applied at an Auld facility in either Asia or North America.
